Created in 2018, this fund was established to provide essential support for the horses in our care—especially those who need more than standard care to move forward into their next chapter. At Nexus Equine, we don’t just take in horses that are ready for adoption; we take in those who need extra help to be healthy, happy, and ready for a second chance. This means providing advanced veterinary services, such as surgeries, specialized diagnostics, and additional medications, all of which go beyond what is typically needed to prepare a horse for adoption.
As any horse owner will tell you, the unexpected is always a part of horse ownership, and those unexpected costs can add up quickly. We believe that every horse, no matter their circumstances, deserves a chance at a new beginning.
