Transport Program

Nexus Animals recognizes that location can be a critical factor in finding suitable placements for animals in need. In many areas, resources for equine care and adoption are limited, making it difficult for horses to find the right environment. To address this challenge, Nexus Equine has developed a long-distance relocation program, partnering with like-minded organizations across the country to move horses to regions where they have greater opportunities for adoption or foster placement.

Initially, Nexus Animals launched a pilot program to transport horses to organizations with strong adoption and foster networks, helping to connect them with individuals and facilities better equipped to support them. Building on that success, Nexus Animals now participates in a nationwide effort to relocate up to 300 horses, working alongside collaborative partners dedicated to their well-being.

Through these partnerships, we are expanding opportunities for horses by removing geographical barriers and connecting them with the people and environments that best meet their needs.

Nexus Animals also saves dogs and cats by relocating them from overcrowded shelters in Oklahoma to areas with greater adoption opportunities, giving them a second chance at life. Learn more at: Nexus Pets.
