Nexus Equine and Oklahoma 4-H are proud to partner on the Oklahoma 4-H Equine Makeover. The Round 3 Showcase Finale of the Equine Makeover took place on Saturday, June 26, 2021.
The participants and horses showcased the training progress they made together over the last 90 days. Every participant’s performance was marvelous. The most exciting part is that several of the horses found their new homes with their youth trainer!
A big congratulations to the Round 3 Finale Grand Champions, Sage Payne and Tia!
“Anything to help youth develop character and integrity that will help them pave the way in the future, that’s how everything changes in the industry.” – Rachel Anderson, (Round 3 Judge, CHA Master Certified Instructor)

Congratulations to Sage Payne and Tia, our Round 3 Grand Champions! Stay tuned to our Facebook page for more behind-the-scenes with Sage about her training process. A new part of the challenge this year was that each youth picked a cause to train their horse in honor of. Hailey (pictures above, paired with CS Snickers) chose Veteran suicide prevention. This year we also added Makeover Alumni Youth Mentors: Zoe, McKayla and Jacob Thank you to the amazing judges, volunteers, and sponsors for making the 2021 Oklahoma 4-H Equine Makeover possible!
